In 2001 she became a charter member of the National Society of Agents for Consumer Education. This organization is dedicated helping consumers understand how to protect themselves and their families with insurance and other products. Phyllis first worked in radio with KFYN Radio on the Town and Country Show in Bonham, Texas. Currently Phyllis is writing a book on consumer protection with Michael Jans, president of Insurance Profits Systems, called Protect Yourself.
