News Director

Scott comes to KETR from KXCV/KRNW, the public radio stations based at his alma mater, Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.  Among Scott’s responsibilities were news reporter, staff announcer, and assistant producer of the Bearcat Sports Network.  Scott has also worked in commercial radio in St. Joseph, Missouri, and the student managed and operated FM station at Northwest Missouri State.  Scott was born and raised in Shenandoah, Iowa, the hometown of the Everly Brothers and the Blackwood Brothers.

Bulldogs among local teams still standing

The Cooper Bulldogs took down Pottsboro Tuesday night 71-50 to advance to the Area Round where they'll play Krum.

The Boles, Cooper, Dodd City, Ector, Paris, Saltillo and Trenton boys basketball teams have all advanced to the Area Round of their respective class by winning their bi-district matchup Tuesday night.

Bonham, Clarksville, Roxton and Yantis each had a bye in the first round.

Teams that failed to advance Tuesday night were Greenville, Honey Grove, Leonard, Royse City, Sulphur Bluff and Wills Point.

The Area Round of the high school basketball playoffs takes place February 23-25.
