Agrilife's 'Walk Across Texas' Starts March 6

Hunt County Agrilife Extension Agent Sarah Latham says the annual "Walk Across Texas" event sponsored by Agrilife starts Monday, March 6.  Teams of eight will together attempt to walk a combined 800 miles, the distance across Texas.  Agrilife will register their progress online, so teams can compete against one another.  Sarah will also start a new series of "Tech Talks" at 2 p.m. Wednesday (March 1) at the Extension Office building, 2217 Washington Street in downtown Greenville.  The Tech Talks are for anyone who'd like to learn more about smart phones and other personal technology.
