Army Band to perform in Sulphur Springs

Commerce – The United States Army Band announced Monday they'll be performing a free concert on the square in Sulphur Springs on October 17.

The Washington DC-based Volunteers plays a variety of tunes including popular American music such as country, oldies, classic rock, rhythm and blues, and patriotic.

The public is invited to attend, which begins that afternoon at 2 p.m.

The Army Band has performed in all 50 states at major events such as the Indy 500, the Memorial Day celebration at Disney World, the National Rodeo Finals in Las Vegas, Mardi Gras in New Orleans and hundreds of major league sporting events
