Commerce, TX – In Friday's region semifinals, Princeton advanced with a 38-26 win over Kemp and Chapel Hill defeated Kennedale 65-49.
Princeton's Chase Spruiell scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Panthers. Kemp was led by Joseph Simmons with 10 points. Jacarri Culberson added 8 points and 6 rebounds.
Chapel Hill had three players finish in double figures and one also had a double-double. Chris Mass' 19 points were all in the second half. Mass also had 10 rebounds. Tony Riley added 16 points and 9 rebounds and Jaafar Brown had 11 points. Kennedale's Kiefer Hohenberger and Duran Diaz each had 12 points, with Dominique Harris adding 8 points and 11 rebounds.
