Banquet Offers Many New Aspects

Besides a new location, new caterer, new entertainment the reasons to attend this year’s Delta County Chamber of Commerce Banquet just got even better – the Chamber will be hosting a giveaway of a two person, seven night cruise to Mexico. Tickets will be limited to only 100, making for great chances to win (1 in 100).

The cruise includes three ports: Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica on the Royal Caribbean cruise line. The ship departs from Galveston in September. Winners will be staying in the same cabin and will need to secure a passport prior to departure. This Saturday-Saturday trip includes $150 on board credit.

Each ticket is $20 for this raffle. The winner will be selected by a neutral party on the evening of the Chamber Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, located at the Charleston Sky event venue. Remember to keep your ticket stub as the number will verify winning.

Everyone is encouraged to get their tickets to the Banquet early to have a meal and reservation. All guests are welcome just be sure to purchase a $20 event ticket or reserve a table for six for $100. The Chamber has already pre-sold over 15 tables so don’t wait until the last minute. The weather is expected to be pleasant for January in East Texas.

Warm up to the evening’s Winter Fiesta theme and a catered fajita meal by Tejano’s of Cooper which includes complimentary drinks and a fun, entertaining show by local artist Matt Dunn, who is releasing a new CD titled, “Desire.”

At the banquet the Chamber honors members, potential members, and award-winning honorees from across the beloved communities of this grand county. Accolades will be presented for Volunteers, Educator, First Responder, Business, and Agriculturalist of the Year. These honorees from the corners of Delta County will be revealed that evening among family, friends, and neighbors. This annual tradition is a heart-warming way to finish the night.

The doors will open at 6 p.m. at Charleston Sky on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018. This will be a perfect opportunity to tour the newly opened venue. Each day they are adding more décor and unique touches.

Guests will also be treated to a special slideshow of the “Chamber in Review.” The Chamber Board of Directors hopes everyone makes plans to attend this exceptional opportunity to network, socialize, and gather for an evening of fellowship.
