Bond denied for hostage suspect

Greenville – A bond reduction is denied for a Greenville man involved in a hostage situation.

38-year-old Thomas Patrick Miller remains in custody in lieu of a total of $255,000 bond on charges of aggravated kidnapping and assault/family violence.

During a Monday morning hearing, a judge denied any reduction in bond for Miller. No additional hearings were immediately scheduled.

According to a press release from the Greenville Police Department, a call came in at approximately on Jan. 23 of an assault in progress at an apartment in the 3200 block of Kari Lane.
