COMMERE - Jalinna Jones is the 2011 Commerce Citizen of the Year. She was recognized during the culmination of Thursday night’s 103rd Annual Awards Banquet, presented by the Chamber of Commerce.
A seasoned public relations and marketing communications professional, Jones currently serves on numerous boards including the Commerce Public Library, the Northeast Texas Children’s Museum and Rotary Club President. Jones took little time to become involved in the community upon moving to Commerce in 2009.
She is the wife of A&M-Commerce President Dan Jones. The two have a daughter, Aislinn.
