Commerce – The Commerce Lady Tigers were recognized Monday night during the CISD's board meeting for their efforts in the 2010 season.
The Tigers won the District 10-3A championship and advanced to the second round of the state volleyball playoffs.
Junior Raven Massey earned the District's Most Valuable Player award, the district's Middle Blocker award went to sophomore Kaci Harrison and in her first season as coach, Sarah Hall was named the Coach of the Year in the division.
Making the District 10-3A first team from Commerce were sophomores' Chaney Moreland and senior Morgan Morrison, while senior Teal Martin and junior Kiearra Thompson made the district's second team.
