Greenville – The first vote to approve a new development plan for West Greenville is scheduled for this week by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
A public hearing will be held prior to the vote, scheduled for Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
The Small Area Plan, consisting of 27,000 acres, is expected to help guide development over a wide region of the western edge of the city and along the Interstate 30 corridor. The plan will also play a role in setting standards for the proposed giant municipal utility district.
