Cooper School districts have lifted their initial lockdown issued earlier this morning.
Cooper Elementary school went into lockdown procedures this morning due to a "rumored threat," according to school district staff.
Cooper superintendent of schools Denicia Hohenberger assisted sheriff's deputies with investigation of the situation.
STAAR testing continued as scheduled, school district officials said.
This lockdown was unrelated to the Hopkins County prisoner escapees.
KETR will have more information as it becomes available.
