Hunt County – A possible change of venue is still pending in a Hunt County lawsuit.
Judge Joe Leonard said he will decide by Friday whether to approve the change of location in the case concerning the construction of the Hunt County Jail.
Both sides in the case have the next few days to file any final motions or corroborating evidence before he announces his decision.
Defense attorneys for Frank W. Neal & Associates Incorporated, the engineers for the project, are seeking a change in venue, due to extensive media coverage.
