Greenville – It is no comment on the results of an internal investigation into alleged TAKS testing violations by the Greenville Intermediate School Principal. Karen Jo Barrow remains on paid leave after employees reported testing violations during the April 3rd math portion of the TAKS test. The district reported the allegations to the Texas Education Agency, and then conducted an internal investigation. The results have been reported to the TEA, but the district won't comment on the findings.
Barrow will remain on leave until the issue is resolved.
This is Barrow's first year as principal of GIS after many years as an administrator at Greenville High School.
