Greenville, Commerce – The Greenville City Council will hold a special meeting in Commerce Friday. The meeting is designed to help the Council plan ahead. The Council has met in either May or June during the past three years, to set out the goals it would like to achieve with the budget in the coming year.
Two out of the past three years, the Council had set a significant reduction in the property tax rate as its number one priority. The special meeting is scheduled for 7:45 a.m. Friday in the Leadership Lounge of the Memorial Student Center.
