Greenville – A prison sentence is handed down in a Greenville armed robbery case.
Jason Eugene Stevenson was convicted Tuesday on one count of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Under a plea bargain arrangement, Stevenson was sentenced to seven years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division. He'll be eligible for parole after serving 3.5 years of prison time, considering he had no prior convictions.
The home invasion robbery involving Stevenson took place at 2108 Bourland Street in Greenville in October, 2008.
Trials are pending for the remaining defendants in the case.
