BONHAM - A former Fannin County school teacher has been sentenced to three years behind bars for sexual assault of a child.
The sentence came after 27-year-old Jordan Lane pleaded guilty to the charge on Monday.
Police say tips from students led them to the 14-year-old student involved.
Lane was a former instructor at Honey Grove ISD, although police say the incident last August did not occur on the campus.
