Herald-Banner editor Kristal Kuykendall says the newspaper is reducing it's use of Associated Press and other outside sources of stories, and emphasizing almost entirely local content. In that, she says the newspaper is looking for more local writers on subjects having to do with Greenville and the surrounding area. Also, Kristal says the Commerce Journal(owned by the same company that operates the Herald-Banner) is starting a new Facebook group page.
