It is never good to awake to sirens at 2:30 a.m. That’s exactly what local first responders did last Friday as they responded to call for a house fire 250 East San Antonio Avenue in Cooper. No cause was given as the older house burned quickly into a total loss.
Fortunately, resident Donald Fuller escaped the flames unharmed, according to reports. Mutual aid was also provided by North Hopkins Volunteer Fire Department.
Officials have not yet been informed of any donation collections being taken in this situation.
