Information sought into Morris' disappearance

By Scott Harvey

Fannin County – The case of a Fannin County man who first went missing nearly two years ago remains under review.

The Texas Rangers and Fannin County Sheriff's officials are asking for the public's help regarding Jack Randal Morris. He was last seen near the community of Cotton Center.

Foul play is believed to be associated with his disappearance, which occurred on August 12, 2009, and sparked a vast search that involved dozens of volunteers.

Brad Oliver is with the Texas Rangers. He says, "We're coming up on the two year anniversary, so we're just trying to get some information and get it back into the public eye. Maybe somebody will come forward with some information."

Anonymous calls can be made by calling the sheriff's office at 903-583-2143 or the Texas Rangers office in Sherman at 903-813-3444.
