FIRST SERVE
After last weekend's sweeps of A&M-International and A&M-Kingsville the Lions recorded their 19th and 20th wins in 2013. Texas A&M University-Commerce has now recorded back-to-back 20-win seasons. The last time the Lions did this was 2000-02 when the volleyball program recorded three straight such seasons.

SERIES SCORE
The TexAnns completed a 2-0 comeback versus the Lions in Stephenville earlier this season. The series between has been tight all-time with the Lions holding a 15-14 record versus the TexAnns. Unfortunately the Lions have dropped five straight to the TexAnns and have not won on their home court since 2010. The exact opposite can be said for the Lions' recent history with the Eastern New Mexico Zias. The Lions have won five straight over Eastern New Mexico. The Field House has been good for the Lions versus Eastern New Mexico, with the Lions winning the last four meetings in Commerce since 2007. The Lions have not defeated the West Texas A&M Lady Buffs since 2009, including the 3-0 sweep the Lions suffered out in Canyon this season.

SCOUTING THE TEXANNS
The TexAnns are coming off back-to-back sweeps at the hands of West Texas A&M and Eastern New Mexico. That comes after a sweep of A&M-Kingsville. Tarleton State currently sits in sixth place in the LSC standings, a half game behind the Lions. Stacie Murrah leads the TexAnn attack with 338 kills and 3.41 kills per set. Jazmine Green is second on the team with 231 kills and a 2.57 average per set. Danielle Barker is the setter for Tarleton State and has dished out 1082 assists on the season for a 10.93 per set average.

SCOUTING THE ZIAS
Eastern New Mexico is 2-3 in their last five games with a loss to Angelo State University their most recent result. The Zias currently sit in eighth place in the LSC standings and are just one game back of Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Lauren Frye and Courtney Lawson lead the offense for Eastern New Mexico. Frye leads the team with 287 kills and Lawson is second with 253. The Zias run a two-setter offense with Kara Day and Kennedi Catano splitting the duties. Day has 454 assists and Catano has 327 on the season.

SCOUTING THE LADY BUFFS
The Lady Buffs have already clinched the regular season LSC Title with their 14-0 conference mark so far and will host the conference tournament. The Lady Buffs have not lost a game since losing to Florida Southern on Sep. 14 in Denver, Colorado. The Lady Buffs have only dropped five sets since that game, including 3-0 sweeps of their last seven opponents. West Texas A&M sports a balanced offense with four players each earning over 200 kills on the season, led by Halie Harton's 282. Handing out all of those assists are Kameryon Hayes (910) and Kyli Schultz (227).

1,000 DIGS
Jordan Neal is now 12 digs away from becoming the ninth player in Lion Volleyball history with 1,000 digs. Neal will also be the fifth player to have over 1,000 in a major category. Toni Skipalis has over 1,000 in three categories (assists, kills, digs). Amy Maddox, Melanie Rea and Sara Wedburg all have over 1,000 kills and digs.

A LOT OF REJECTIONS
Senior Kayla Bond is now tied for seventh on the Lion all-time blocks list with 284 for her career. Bond is now 14 behind Christy Edmond for sixth-most all-time.

LOOK MOM, NO ERRORS!
Breanne Snyder had a near perfect night versus A&M-Kingsville in the Lions' last game. Snyder had 14 kills on 20 attacks with no errors. The .700 hitting percentage topped a career best that Snyder had established just the night before in a matchup against A&M-International.
