A&M-COMMERCE LIONS
The A&M-Commerce Lions hit the road tomorrow to face south division rival Abilene Christian. The Lions are coming off an upset win over Midwestern State last week, and hope to notch another victory tomorrow. In last year's meeting, the Lions put it over on Abilene Christian with a 37-17 victory.
Linebacker J.D. Hearn was named Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Week last week after notching 13 tackles and one interception in the win; and the key field goals of Ha'a Bento earned the kicker Specialist of the Week.
Kick off is set for 6pm Saturday, with live coverage on 88.9 beginning at 5:30.
COMMERCE TIGERS
And the Wilmer-Hutchins School District is no more, which leaves the Commerce Tigers with no game tonight. The Tigers will rest up and be back on the road next week to face the Paris-North Lamar Panthers.
