Lone Oak High School has three offensive and five defensive starters returning from a team that barely missed the playoffs last year.
Among those returning are some players in key positions. Two-way lineman Colton Busby is a force in the trenches, while tight end Shawn Cooper (6-4, 200) is a big presence along the sidelines. The defense will be led by free safety Ryan Basye.
Lone Oak’s success will likely depend on how well newcomers fill in at key positions such as quarterback and linebacker.
