Pecan Gap resident and Delta County Deputy Marshall Lynch has formally announced his candidacy for the office of Delta County Constable. He has spent the last three years in law enforcement – one year as a peace officer and two years prior as the jailer/dispatcher for Delta County.

Deputy Lynch volunteers his time with the Pecan Gap Volunteer Fire Department and assists the area fire fighters.

“I believe in working hard and giving back to the community,” said Deputy Marshall Lynch, making his first run for political office.

He is supported by his wife Jennifer. Together they have a home in Pecan Gap, calling that area home for the past seven years. He is the proud father of sons, Cody and Tanner.

Deputy Lynch was raised in the East Texas area. He appreciates all the Delta County residents and their votes.

He will be running against incumbent Constable Ben Snow and Rickey "Don" Click of Klondike.
