Zane Williams offers something unique with his take on country music: an authentic sound to his lyrics, an honest approach to traditional C&W sounds that's not flashy or overproduced, and a genuine throwback to his old-school influences.

During a visit to KETR, Zane opened up about his 9 years working in Nashville, the reasons he came back to Texas, and the success he's found in his native state.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Matt moved to the Sulphur Springs area in 1990 and settled in Commerce shortly thereafter. Having dreamed of working in radio since childhood, he began working at KETR while taking Radio-Television courses at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1993. Matt has transitioned from a part-time worker and pupil of KETR, to the station’s Chief Announcer/Producer and supervisor of student broadcasters.
