Commerce – Citizens in the Norris Community in Commerce will continue work Friday evening toward the development of a neighborhood crime watch.
This marks the third such meeting since a string of crime in January sparked residents to call on police to help them formulate the watch. Meetings are held once a month.
Community Resources Officer Alex Suarez hopes this is the start of what becomes a city-wide crime watch program.
Friday's meeting begins at 6 p.m. from the Norris Community Center.
