Rains County – Rains County leaders, residents, and students were in Austin yesterday to mark Rains County Days at the Capitol. 21 adults and 20 students were scheduled to make the trip to meet state officials and experience Texas government in action. Reverend David Diller of Emory United Methodist Church was scheduled to open the Senate session of the day, and tours of the Texas Association of Counties and Bob Bullock Texas Historical Museum were scheduled.
