Rains County – The Rains County Emergency Service District recently received a clean bill of health after inspections at four different fire departments. The Emory, Point, East Tawakoni, and Southwest Rains Volunteer Fire Departments all received inspections of their trucks and equipment. Despite a few trucks currently out of service or under repair, the group of fire departments passed the inspections.
After the clean inspections were announced, an ambulance service contract with Champion EMS was also renewed for the next five years.
