Rangers Seek Other Potential Victims in Constable Sexual Assault Case

Note: 10/3/2018 9:37 a.m. -- This story has been edited to add contact information for the Texas Rangers, and for grammar.

The Texas Rangers are looking for more victims to step forward in the wake of a sexual assault involving a Kauffman County deputy constable.

Last week, former District 4 Deputy Constable Grant Cousins confessed to sexually assaulting a woman while on duty. According to Cousins’ attorneys, the assault "was deliberate and it was premeditated.” His attorneys, however, say there is no evidence to suggest other sexual assault incidents.

Nevertheless, the Texas Rangers are asking anyone who feels they were victimized by Cousins to step forward. Citizens are being asked to contact the Rangers directly.
