Second arrest made in connection with a fight on the A&M-Commerce campus

By Kevin Jefferies

Commerce – A second arrest has been made in connection with a knife fight on the A&M-Commerce campus on March 3rd. 24 year old Jeremy Wallace was taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon Monday when he came into A&M-Commerce police headquarters to obtain a copy of a police report concerning the theft of his car the night of the melee. Wallace's car was found near Wolfe City destroyed by fire. Wallace was injured in the fight, but police say the injury happened when Wallace was trying to cut another person with a knife, and his hand slipped.
