A cold front is expected to move into Northeast Texas on Saturday - bringing with it a chance for severe storms.
The National Weather Service advises that damaging winds, large hail and isolated flooding are possible dangers associated with Saturday afternoon and evening's weather.
This is the same system that has been moving across the Oklahoma and Arkansas plains over the past week, spawning multiple tornadoes near Tulsa and in southwestern Arkansas.
Thankfully, the conditions over northeast Texas this weekend should inhibit tornado development with this system.
