TransCanada crews begin work at Red'Arc Farm

Rain, thunder and lightning did not deter TransCanada workers from beginning major operations at Julia Trigg Crawford's Red'Arc farm in northwestern Lamar County on Thursday morning.

Crawford, who posted the below video on her Facebook page this morning, said that her property is the last property in the southern leg of the proposed pipeline to be developed by TransCanada.

Crawford's attempt to stop the seizure of the land through eminent domain was rejected by Lamar County. Crawford says she has filed an appeal with the Sixth District Court of Appeals in Texarkana.
