– The deadline is approaching to be eligible to vote in the November 3 constitutional amendment election.
Anyone not registered who wishes to vote needs to register by Monday at 5 p.m. at their local courthouse. Early voting begins October 19.
Some local elections include raising the tax rates and ask for the allowance of beer and wine sales in area stores and restaurants.
Statewide, there are 11 proposed amendments to the Texas constitution.
