What To Do in Delta County This Fall

COOPER - Let no one say there's not much to do in Delta County this month! This list is just a sample, submitted by Cindy Roller of The Cooper Review.

This Saturday the Enloe Community Center hosts its annual hayride, hot dog roast, Halloween Costume Contest starting at 6:30 p.m. There is no cost to attend and donations are graciously accepted. 

The Ben Franklin Community will also host its annual Fall Festival Potluck and Chili Cook-off this Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Ben Franklin Chapel Building, located across the street from Ben Franklin Methodist Church from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be cash prizes. Judges for the Chili Cook-off are Sheriff-elect Ricky Smith, County Judge Herb Brookshire, and County Commissioner Wayne Poole.

The Delta County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual Trunk or Treat event on Halloween Wednesday, Oct. 31 on the Square in Cooper starting at 5:30 p.m. There will be cash prizes for the Best decorated Trunk, costume, carved pumpkin and fall business window.
