COOPER - Recent rains have done little to help the region fend off increasingly dry conditions, prompting Delta and Fannin County Commissioners Monday to order a burn ban.
Two more area counties have been removed from burning restrictions. The ban for Hopkins and Red River counties were lifted Wednesday.
Area county commissioners approved to extent their county's current burn bans during meetings Monday morning.
