GREENVILLE - As authorities continue their probe into the slayings of a sacred white buffalo and its mother, the Lakota Ranch is preparing to accept another white buffalo as a donation from Oregon.
GREENVILLE - One year ago Friday everything changed at the Lakota Ranch near Greenville as a rare and sacred white buffalo, later named Lightning Medicine Cloud, was born.
GREENVILLE - It was scheduled to be a ceremony honoring the birth of a sacred white buffalo. But this weekend’s Native American Powwow will instead serve as a memorial for Lightning Medicine Cloud, who, along with his mother, were found dead last week.
