Paris, Texas – Paris officials have enacted Stage 2 of drought contingency plans. The City has enacted mandatory restrictions on all non-essential watering such as ornamental fountains, washing pavement or cars, and irrigation. Also, restaurants are prohibited from serving water to customers unless specifically requested. The city hopes to drop water usage by 10%.

Paris joins Commerce and many other areas in enacting mandatory watering restrictions as drought continues to plague all on Northeast Texas.

Contact Paris City Hall for more information on the new watering restrictions at 903.785.7511.
