Greenville ends water conservation measures

By Bill Oliver

Greenville, TX –

Tuesday brought an end to Stage 1 water conservation measures in Greenville. Interim City Manager Barry Robinson said recent rain has recharged city reservoirs. Stage 1 measures, implemented in March, asked Greenville residents to voluntarily reduce water consumption.

Greenville Majors Field received over 7 inches of rain in less than one week, including a shade over 1 inch on Tuesday. Commerce received a quarter-inch Tuesday.
