Commerce – Bond has been reduced in a Commerce stabbing case. During a hearing Thursday, Jeffery Lewis Affterly had his bond reduced from $100,000 to $50,000. Affterly is accused of stabbing a female victim at an apartment earlier this month, and has since been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family violence. Affterly was arrested on the night of Thursday, September 18 following a reported stabbing in the 1400 block of W. Neal Street. As of Thursday morning, he remained in custody in the Hunt County Jail.
