Robbery suspect sought in Paris

Paris – Lamar County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information regarding a recent robbery in Paris.

The crime occurred in the 1300 block of Clarksville Street during the early morning of Sunday, February 22. An unknown person is reported to have entered a Paris Mart Convenient Store brandishing a gun and demanding money from the cash register. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The clerk was threatened, but not reported to have suffered any injuries.

The individual at the time of the crime was said to be wearing a black jacket, black mask and gloves. It was unsure of the race and build of the person.
