Hunt County – More road work is underway along Interstate 30 in Hunt County.
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) recently awarded a $7.3 million contract to RK Hall Construction for a resurfacing project, to stretch from the Rockwall County line to 1.51 miles west of State Highway 34/Wesley Street. 110 working days have been given to complete the project, with work set to begin Monday.
Temporary lane and ramp closures in both directions are expected throughout the project.
