Guilty plea heard in Greenville theft

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A woman has pleaded guilty for stealing from a Greenville psychologist.

33-year-old Kristy Diane Childers Foster has been placed on probation and ordered to pay thousands of dollars in restitution.

Under a plea bargain arrangement, Foster was placed on five years of deferred adjudication probation, fined $500, and ordered to complete 200 hours of community service. She is also to write a letter of apology to Dr. David B. Bell, a clinical psychologist in Greenville.

Foster is alleged to have stolen funds from Bell on 29 occasions between December, 2004 and June, 2005.
