By Brad Kellar

Hunt County, Kaufman County – A Kaufman County man pleads not guilty to weapons and money theft charges from a Hunt County residence in 2006.

Thomas Lee Potter was brought under a bench warrant from state prison to court for Thursday's arraignment. He was appointed an attorney, and a tentative trial date was set for October 12.

Potter, of Terrell, was indicted in 2007 on one count of theft of property of a value of between $20,000 and $100,000. He was alleged to have stolen a rifle, pistol and $10,000 cash in July, 2006.
