Services set for Wolfe City resident killed in crash

Wolfe City – Services are set for Friday evening in for Wolfe City resident Colin Owens, who was killed Tuesday night following a one vehicle accident just south of the city.

The 27-year-old Owens was said to have rolled his pickup at around 9:30 p.m. on FM 512. According to Wolfe City Police, he was stable upon emergency arrival, but later died after being transported to Parkland Hospital in Dallas.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Owens Funeral Home, with services set for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wolfe City High School Gym.

There was still no word as of Thursday night to what may have caused the crash. The Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
