Dixon pleads guilty to March hold-up

Greenville – A local teenager pleads guilty to robbery in connection with an armed hold-up in Greenville last month.

Walker Glenn Dixon Jr., of Greenville entered the plea Thursday to two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Under a plea bargain arrangement, Dixon was placed on 10 years of deferred adjudication probation, with 120 hours of community-based service and a $1,000 fine.

Dixon was said to have approached two male victims outside a convenience store on Moulton Street, produced a handgun and demanded money. No injuries were reported. Dixon was arrested by the police department nine days later.
