Sulphur Springs – Prominent Sulphur Springs physician Dr. Don O'Neal, has now been arrested for the second time in as many months.
The 62-year-old O'Neal was charged with 22 counts of delivery of a controlled substance after he allegedly administered drugs to patients in his office. The drugs were prescribed even after he surrendering his license.
ONeal was previously arrested for 33 counts of prescription fraud.
According to District Attorney Martin Braddy the investigation is expected to be lengthy and more charges are possible. It is being conducted by both Sulphur Springs PD and the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency.
