By Scott Harvey

Como – A Sulphur Springs teenager has died from injuries received following an early morning wreck Friday just east of Como.

According to State Troopers, Jordan Scott Hurley was driving along Highway 11 when he attempted to pass a vehicle into oncoming traffic, overcorrected, ran off the road and hit a tree.

The 17-year-old Hurley was pronounced dead shortly after midnight by Justice of the Peace Yvonne King.
