– The Texas Department of Transportation has announced plans to address a number of road projects this week, including the latest changes to Interstate 30 in Greenville.
Contractor R K Hall will be resurfacing the westbound lanes on the interstate, which will require outside lane closures.
Meanwhile, the full conversion of a one-way frontage road is nearly complete. By the early part of next week, contractor Austin Bridge and Road should have the Business Highway 69 "turnaround" bridge open to traffic.
Motorists are asked to observe signs and flaggers, and to be aware of lane closures.

Paris Area Office:
TxDOT Clarksville Maintenance Crews will be laying Hot-Mix on SH 37 south of Bogata. In addition, Sign Crews will be working on various roadways repairing and replacing signs. Various roadways in the Sulphur Springs area will be impacted by a mill and inlay project. Portions of the old roadways will be milled out and repaved with new hot mix.
FM 2675 should be reopened to traffic. It has been closed due to a bridge replacement project.
Delta County - Overlay project on FM 2949, Widening Project continues on FM 128
Diamond Grinding on Loop 286 in Paris will continue. Working between SH 271 and Pine Mill Road. Loop 286 will be down to one lane in work zones during the daytime.
Districtwide seal coat contract will be sealing roads in Delta and Lamar Counties.
FM 1498 project should be close to placing the first course of seal coat on the last two miles of the rehabilitation project.
Safety/Dead Tree Removal will be performed on FM 79, 1502, 194
Pothole/Edging work on FM 2648, 3298
ROW Mowing will be on loop 286/US 82 Town Route in Paris
Seal Open Base Repairs on FM 196
Greenville Area Office:
Hunt County. - Bus. 69 North, TxDOT Maintenance crews will be performing level up, herbicide will be applied in various locations and sign crews will be working in various locations. Ditch work begins on FM 513.
TxDOT contractor, Austin Bridge and Road, will have lots of activity happening on the Monty Stratton intersection area of IH 30. Crews should have the Bus. 69 "turnaround" bridge open to traffic early next week.
TxDOT contractor, R K Hall, will be resurfacing the westbound lanes on IH 30. They should be placing PFC on the outside main lane and outside shoulder, this will require outside lane closures which will impact westbound traffic flow.
Rains co. - Level up on SH 19 both north and south. Various sign work and herbicide operations.
Sherman Area Office:
US 75 between Loy Lake and Spur 503 will have full depth concrete repair work performed. This will require one lane closure.
US 75 northbound between FM 1417 and SH 91 will have a one lane traffic control in place to facilitate the bridge rail upgrade project. Currently have inside lane closed and it should remain closed next week. After inside rail has been completed, the outside lane will be closed to address the outside rail.
Trenton and Van Alstyne will have milling and inlaying operations ongoing next week. Traffic may be restricted to one lane.
US 69 between Denison and Bells has a pavement joint repair contract ongoing. This will require lane closures.
FM 3133 from SH 5 to Collin County Line is under a full rehabilitation project. Traffic will be impacted by pavement work.
Us 75 frontage roads in Sherman between Center Street and Travis Street, both northbound and southbound, are encountering concrete curb repairs. Expect lane closures.
Fm 121 between Gunter and Tioga is being rehabilitated. Contractor should be applying final seal coat surface next week.
FM 1743 in Fannin County rehabilitation project between US 82 and SH 56 should be having the final seal coat surface treatment applied next week.
US 82 between Bonham and Honey Grove was sealed this week. The new pavement markings are scheduled to be placed next week. There will be some changes to the lane configuration on this segment of US 82. There will be two "Passing" sections installed. The passing sections will provide two lanes in one direction and one lane in the opposing direction. One section will begin at CR 2935 and provide two eastbound lanes for approximately 1 mile. The other section will provide two westbound lanes starting just west of SH 56 intersection and continue to FM 100, approximately 2 miles. Motorists are encouraged to be aware of these changes.
