Collin County judge indicted

McKinney – Collin County judge Suzanne Wooten has been indicted on charges of bribery. The indictment claims she and others illegally funneled money into her 2008 election campaign in exchange for favorable rulings in court.

However, Wooten's attorney insists to K-T-V-T television that the allegations are nothing but a political vendetta.

Wooten was the first judicial candidate ever to unseat an incumbent judge in Collin County.

Attorney Peter Schulte says she upset the county's "good old boy system, and now they're going to make her pay for it."
