Two arrested for drugs following traffic stop

Commerce – Commerce Police have arrested two individuals for possession of drugs following a traffic stop along Hwy 24/50.
The Friday stop was initiated after 30-year-old Rowdy Dee Duvall was observed speeding. Duvall showed to have outstanding traffic warrants for his arrest out the Hunt County and Hopkins County Sheriff's Office.
After initial contact with the driver, a smell of marijuana was detected and later recovered.
The passenger, identified as 35-year-old Darrell Lee Ragsdale was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, two additional small bags with marijuana and a controlled substance believed to be methamphetamines.
Both have been released after posting bond.
