Replat of Greenville airport put on hold
By Brad Kellar
Greenville – During a public hearing Monday, an attorney for L-3 Mission Integration cited possible inconsistencies between the City's proposal and the existing lease agreement with the company.
The Planning and Zoning Commission therefore voted to table any action on the proposed re-platting of the airport property, until after officials with L-3 are able to meet with City officials.
L-3 is the largest tenant at Major's Field Municipal Airport.
Although no new development is currently being considered, city staff is asking the current single lot plat be re-platted into four lots. '
